For us, landscape architecture in Dubai is part of the house, not something added at the end. Gardens, courtyards, terraces and pools are designed together with the architecture and the interiors, from the first brief.
A landscape architect brings structure, flow and technical precision to outdoor spaces: how people sit, walk, play or simply look out from inside. Our landscape architect works with the architecture and interior team from the start of a project.
A garden may be used only in the cooler months, but it is seen all year, so the views from the windows become focal points. We use local, drought-resistant plants to reduce water use, shaded terraces and courtyards to soften the heat, and materials such as travertine, limestone and granite that handle heat, salt and sand.
Pool design in Dubai is part of the same composition: water features, terraces and shaded courtyards that extend family spaces outdoors. In winter, slim sliding or pivot glazing opens the living rooms to the terraces, and the house and the garden become one landscape.
