Cassia

Our client, long-time residents of the UAE with their roots firmly established, sought to transform their existing villa ahead of the arrival of their second child and create a spacious haven that accommodates both intimate family moments and grand entertaining. The vision was to enhance the Neo-Classical style with contemporary elegance, creating a home that reflects their sophisticated lifestyle. The villa's exterior is adorned with off-white travertine, exuding timeless warmth and blending with lush green surroundings.

A striking double-height entrance featuring a large pivot door welcomes guests into a world of refined design. Inside, Cassia boasts 4-meter-high arched pivot windows, framing breathtaking views of the Montgomerie Golf Club. The ground floor's open-plan layout features concealed pocket sliding doors, offering flexibility between privacy and openness.

The design challenge of integrating a new basement was met with a sculptural spiral staircase that seamlessly connects the formal lounge to the entertainment and spa areas below. The addition of a second floor, supported by a steel structure, ensures minimal impact on the existing architecture while providing expansive living space. Functional and entertainment elements, such as a cinema, spa, basement entertainment lounge, and car lift, cater to the client's desire for elevated luxury. This extends beyond, with a rooftop terrace, accessible from the entertainment room and gaming lounge, offering panoramic views of the golf course and Dubai Marina skyline, perfect for hosting gatherings.

Outside, a sanctuary of serenity soothes with the sounds of water from the waterfall infinity pool cascading into a sunken garden. Crafted from a selection of hardwearing materials that prioritise durability and low maintenance, Cassia blends modern-day functions and aesthetics to create a home that is both a private retreat for a young, growing family and a social hub to share moments with friends.
